Sag Award Winners

HBO picked up five trophies, while Betty White scored for TV Land at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Sunday night.

The octogenarian nabbed her first SAG Actor Award for best female actor in a comedy series for her portrayal of Elka Ostrovsky in TV Land's Hot in Cleveland.

In repeats of their equivalent wins at the Golden Globes on Jan. 16, HBO's Boardwalk Empire won for top ensemble cast for a drama, while Steve Buscemi grabbed his first Actor for outstanding male actor in a drama series, for his role as AC treasurer Nucky Thompson, based on the real-life Enoch (Nucky) Johnson, the political boss who once ruled Atlantic City.

Meanwhile, Claire Danes and Al Pacino made it trophy threepeats taking home the Actors as outstanding female actor in a TV movie or miniseries and the same on the male side for their lead roles in the premium network's Temple Grandin and You Don't Know Jack. Danes, for her imagining of autistic animal doctor and Pacino, for his take on controversial suicide physician Jack Kevorkian, had already picked up Emmys and Golden Globes.

In its second nomination, ABC's Modern Family won top ensemble comedy laurels.
Julianna Margulies won the SAG award for outstanding female performance in a drama series for the second year in a row for her portrayal of Alicia Florrick on CBS's The Good Wife.
Alec Baldwin picked up the Actor for best male actor in a comedy series for his role as Jack Donaghy in NBC's 30 Rock.

Prior to the televised simulcast on TNT and TBS from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles , SAG presented its award for outstanding television stunt ensemble to HBO's vampire series True Blood.
Venerable actor Ernest Borgnine was honored with the Guild's 47th Annual Lifetime Achievement award.
The 88-year old White grabbed the comedy Actor over Edie Falco (Showtime's Nurse Jackie), Tina Fey (NBC's 30 Rock) Jane Lynch (Fox's Glee) and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family) for the actress Actor.
